| I love this story! Isn't it a bit sadistic, though, to stop the chapter here? I mean, I am a very patient person, but I most definately need a really fast UPDATE! | I love the atmosphere you've created in this chapter. The attention to detail is wonderful and the Greek history and mythology are really interesting. Am glad Mahaut is finally speaking to Severus again! Hopefully they'll continue to patch things up in the next chapter! Author's Response: Glad you like the atmosphere, l was worried l might have laid it on a bit thick to make up for the fact that she wasn't talking too him. Attention to detail is due to incurable nerdyness, rpobably spelling nerdyness wrong, as personal nerdiness does not expend to spelling, poor Kathy! Patching up will continue, worry not dear reader, although l can't promise it's going to be smooth sailing, Severus is still in for a couple of nasty shocks. this is due mainly to sadism on my part, oops, too much information,next l'll be accidentally letting slip about my evil master plan for world domination. | And I thought the Dementors were bad... Really enjoyed the chapter - Pleased to see they're finally speaking again. I was starting to feel a little sorry for Severus, but then again, he was being a complete tit before... The Greek stuff isn't coming across as nerdy at all by the way - very interesting... Author's Response: OOooh, l'd like to sse you call Severus Snape a complet tit to his face, maybe he'd be merciful and let you choose which hex he used on you! Author's Response: ANd yea, verily so 'twas written in times of yore, when two or more women shall gather together, verily they shal verbally abuse the males! Anyway, mopings just no fun to write, so l could only indulge him so much(it's also no fun to read, can you imagine 6 pages of"i'm so pathetic and sad" it would be like spending time with marvin the paranoid androin, although, if you like i could supply you wioth a beverage that is almost but not quite like tea!)Thanks for reviewing! | |||

| Really enjoyed Mahaut's dream - feeling slightly more educated now... I'm not so good with constructive criticism, but couldn't find anything to criticise anyway!! | Fascinating stuff! Death rituals, eh? Can't just drop dead and get flushed down a toilet... I like the way she doesn't let him off easy or quickly, but I'm looking forward to seeing the actual ritual for the baby. So it has to be a girl baby, not a boy? Thanks for the new chapter!! | Well, I'm glad he decided to go after her, and that he FINALY realized Medea didn't kill her sons. I really like Minerva's actions - yelling at Severus (who deserved it!), explaning the situation by saying Severus is a male and Mahaut is pregnant (although Mahaut's feelings are far more than mere hormones raging). Interesting that Mahaut was smarter than Severus and Hagrid, in getting a Thestral to come quickly by using her own blood rather than a ferret's. So is anyone going to tell Ginny that Mahaut is gone? Thanks for the new chapter! Author's Response: well, it wouldn't have been much of a story if he hadn't gone after her, there is only so many pages of moping and feeling sorry for yourself that one person can write, after all! l think Minerva would be pretty typical of most people reactions though, she seems to me like the rest of us, and we all like to indulge in the occaisional bout of verbal male abuse don't we girls?(and yeah verily, so it was written in days of yore, when two or more women shal gather together, they shal verbally abuse the males!) as for mahaut being smart, well of course she 's smart, but l'm not sure if it wasn't just desperation in this case. thanks for reviewing! | |||

| Just deep and bitter and painful and wonderful! I love how you balance the the emotional intensity with deft brushes of humor. The final two sentences about waiting for the Thestral is a perfect counterpoint to the opening of chapter. Author's Response: thankyou for noticing humour. l'can't help that, l'm terrible with the gallows humour, l have a complete innability to take life seriously, l got told off last year for scaring people with the sarcasm! l don't think there's any hope of a cure at this stage, l'm too far gone. thanks for reviewing! | |||
