| I find it strange that they need to sneak by Filch. They're professors, Filch has no business questioning them about their comings and goings. Author's Response: It's Filch's job to monitor the comings and goings after hours - and they didn't want to have to explain why they were leaving the grounds together so late at night. | |||

| My God, woman, you slay me. First, let me say how very wonderful you are for rehashing the whole of Midsummer for us. The added bonus of SnapeSnark is nearly too much to bear. I know exactly how he feels, as I've spent most of the last few updates muttering the same lines. Now, understanding that you (presumably) have real life and various work-related things to deal with, might we see some actual resolution soon (if not immediately)? Not necessarily the hearts-and-flowers-and-ripped-knickers consummation devoutly wished, mind, although I fear I am in danger of self-combustion on that front. But a lovely smackdown to dear Lucius's backside would hit the spot *very* nicely. And I ask (abjectly beg) not for myself, but for Emily and Severus, who seem on the verge of thwarted assignation brain damage. Really, I'm worried about them. ;) Author's Response: I swear, I promise - before this fic is over, there won't necessarily be hearts or flowers, but there WILL be a consummation devoutly wished, at least one more set of ripped knickers, and a SERIOUS smackdown for more than one person who richly deserves it. | Malfoy and Emily have great dialogue, though I still find other conversations strange. Particularly Snape's dialogue seems OOC. However the narrative is simply wonderful... one of the best I've seen so far anywhere in ficdome! | |||

| I love your narrative, it's great!! I'm not too crazy about your dialogue. I found the interchange between Snape and the lady sort of adolescent. Author's Response: The scene where Snape and Emily first meet is intended to be a bit nervous and awkward. She _is_ asking a total stranger to tea, after all. | |||
