Hi Guern I hope this story goes on forever. I really enjoy reading your work as much as I do my other favorite authors, stephen king, isaac asimov, anne rice, orson scott card, and of course JKR, to name a few. I look forward to reading many more works from you, and hope you will find the same success they have. I will gladly add your books to my library! |

I have just completed reading the entire story over the weekend and am totally blown away. This has been a very well crafted story. Your development of the non-canon characters has been excellent and your loyality to canon is something I wish all the fanfic writers would stive for. I love the way you have taken these characters that we know and lover and given them depth while staying true to canon.
You have skillfully accomplished two things which are so hard to do: weaving in explanatory text (giving us the basics of the world of the Fae) and weaving in parts of the original books seamlessly into your story. At times, I had difficulty remebering exactly where JKR ended and you began. I LOVE the interactions between Snape and Emily (and so look forward to her eyes being opened as to exactly how evil Malfoy is) but I think my favorite parts are seeing the Trio through the eyes of Snape and Emily. I don't know if you plan on having your story trail OotP like it mirrored GoF (PLEASE - let Emily teach one more year!!) but I would love to see Snape's reactions to his Occulmency lessons with Harry. I know you would do a lovely job.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I look forward to the next installment. |

Like the detail you have put into the Faerie world- and that they hide from the Wizarding one as much as the Wizards do the Muggle world.
It does seem that Emily trusts Lucius rather easily, he did try and steal her True Name afteral. Plus his comment about Sev is rather worrying- what is he planning? Hopefully, Emily will see sense soon and kick Lucius's arse. Looking forward to reading more. |

"Mon Dame" My rudimentary French tells me it should be "Ma Dame" since Dame is feminine (Mon masculine, Ma feminine, Mes plural).
Author's Response: While I appreciate beta-ing like this, I'd prefer it if you sent me a private note about it. Let's keep the Review forum about reviewing, please. Thanks! |

Why do you leave us hanging there? Why haven't you posted the next three or four chapters yet? Don't you like us? Are you angry? Do you wish to punish us? |

Why, oh why do you torment us like this? Isn't it a bit much, I ask you?
Author's Response: In the meantime, there's always the "Plot? What Plot?" section ;-) |

("I'll give it right back, darling, not to worry. Yes, I know the gargoyles up there look dodgy, but I'll keep it ever so safe from them, I promise")... tears of mirth. |

"He was making a speech about outrageous fortune and slings and arrows, and all the heart-ache and thousand natural shocks a Snape is heir to, and she was telling him he was absolutely right, and telling him how clever he was for saying so.
It was all very agreeable."
This is so wonderful!

Malfoy had already called her whore, slut, bitch, among other niceties. I'm glad she decided not be one, though she allowed him to call her one. I cannot *BELIEVE* she still wants a letter from him. That potion he gave her must have some lingering effects.
Author's Response: Actually, what she wanted was an explanation or an apology from him. And yes, it can be difficult to be assertive when under the influence of potions that break down your inhibitions. |
