| gah. Meant to review after every chapter, but I got rather carried away. So raw and real- they're people not constructs. Not a half a dozen times each didn't I want to shake Snape and Emily. Extrordinary. I can' t wait to see what comes next!

eek! Okay, so Lucius is up to his old tricks, and while I firmly believe that nothing good can come of this, part of me is secretly hoping Snape'll come riding in to save the day. Most excellent portrayal of Emily's feelings of trapped desperation. A sad thing indeed, and I wish things will turn out for the best.
Will carry on in a bit.

you know, it's really embarassing to sit around and weep in your office. Really. But that's what I did when Emily had her breakdown. It was so real, so raw, I *hurt* for her. Glad Snape's learned she's not like everyone else- still hoping they'll get it together. Onward ho.
Author's Response: *hands houses a Kleenex and gives her a big hug* Yes, I ended up mining a few of those nasty old rejection-by-a-man feelings for that chapter - it was a tough one to write. But, I'm glad it came across well :-) |

| Ho hum, very short chapter so nowt much to say. Good writing of Albus and Minerva, very in character. I snickered at the last line, good intro of them crazy faeries and such. In short - it made me want to keep reading. |

| Okies, just gotta say, I think it's a cool idea to have a Lexicon at the beginning of a fanfic. The author has clearly sorted out in her mind all of the character's backgrounds and such before writing (or submitting) chapters of the fic so as to make it all the more believable. You know, sometimes I forget it's not real. I wanna be a Tithesman dammit! Good work. =o) |

| Waah, this chapter made me cry. I NEVER cry at fanfic! Bloody hell, I never even cried at any of the canon books! I love your Snape *so* much, I mean he is totally in character from the HP books, but we get to see his point of view in KEC which is what I love. Man, and he is just so funny. I adored the scenes with him and Lily in potions, it's a wicked idea that they are just mates and not any lovey dovey stuff that so many other writers try to imply. Anyways, sorry for the long and illiterate (is that even the right word? And how do you spell it?) review - I just totally felt moved to write something after reading this as you made me cry when JKR couldn't! I should probably get off my arse and review all your chapters as well as they are all "bloody brilliant". Much love, hope you enjoy writing the fic as much as I (and about a billion others) enjoy reading it. xXx |
