Priceless! This chapter has some great moments to savor. The tree, of course, and the way it ends. Wonderful. -- Marianne |

Goodness, that was a good one. I haven't expected Voldemort using that 'I-can-give-him-back-to-you-just-join-me' seduction techniques. I can't wait to read the next update. Wonder what she will report.
As for Felina Rosier, she got less than she deserves, betraying her own husband and then insuniating such things. Really underhanded and quite despicable. As for Lucius, *evil laugh* if he thinks she is devoted to him, he's quite dense. But I do wonder how Emily would deal with him when he comes to her again? Since reading the past chapters, it looks that she do enjoys being with him, seems doesn't have any resistance to that man's physical charms. It's like she doesn't even had to force herself to endure the man. She thinks she doesn't like him, but when it comes to the 'physical sense', it's like her mind is saying something which her body is doing exactly opposite. It's like everything is thrown out of her mind including loving thoughts of her late husband and her attractions to Severus, which really just confuses me.
In fact, in later chapters, there weren't any attractions to Severus at all, snapping back and being really defensive yes, but attracted, there aren't even a trace. Thus defeating the point of SS/OC, since it seems that whatever attractions those two had aren't there anymore. Yes, she gets a little protective when the men were talking about Severus, but it seems she's doesn't get affected by his presence, more like they have become close friends who agree to disagree all the time.
Those criticisms aside, you wrote quite well, as the situations you came up with have corresponding scenes that I can actually visualized while reading. Your characterizations are superb. Well done. |

JKR may have invented these characters, but you have breathed life into them - and Emily is simply magnificent. I love the way that your Voldemort isnīt a horror story bogeyman but a charismatic figure. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter - and Happy Christmas! |

Oh god, you made me cry. Wow, how brilliant of you, to give Emily a genuinely tempting reason to actually consider loyalty to Voldemort. And not a political reason, but a personal one. That was truly unexpected. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Yes, Voldie no doubt sensed that they didn't have their hooks sunk as deep into Em as he would have liked, and he's not blinded with lust and self-absorption like Lucius...believe me, there will be more Emily/Voldemort drama later... |

*dun dun dun* And so the plot thickens. I can't believe this is happening! Though I really wish Felina was turned completely into a weed, the little prat deserves it. I can't wait for the next update to see what Emily reports back. It should be very interesting... xoxo!
Author's Response: Couldn't you just see the impression that would make on the DEs if she did? "Where did Felina go?" "Emily put a Faery curse on her - now she's a part of the landscaping." *blink blink* "Oh." |

I tried to read this but most of the chapters are apparently too long so that my browser finally gives up trying to load them and gives me a file not found error message. Bummer.

PLEASE update! It's the most fascinating story I've ever read... but in the love of god, don't torture me anymore and give me some snape-emily romance!
Author's Response: I generally update every Monday or every other Monday, and I DEFINITELY will update at least a few times a month, promise. I also promise that there will be quite a bit of Severus-Emily romance before Part III is done. |

Holy Moses, that's a turn I didn't expect. A welcome one, however unexpected. I find her history with Dorien fascinating, and I'm relishing the possibility of futher exploration in that area. I gotta say, the spiteful creature inside me was thrilled at her treatement of Felina- deserved I think, as well as the reactions of the men. Good to see they finally understand. What a wild ride this was, and I'm very much looking forward to the next bits. Cheers,

Author's Response: Oh yeah, Dorien was a *really* interesting guy - I've got an entire biography of him worked up that I've only gotten to hint at much of the time. And yes, I'm not at all surprised that a common theme in the reviews for this bit have been "The bint deserved it!" The ride will get even wilder in Ch. 38 through 42, believe me. Stay tuned! |

This is really fabulous. I especially love how there's much more of our beloved Potion's Master now than there was in the previous Part ^^ I can't wait until your next update.
Author's Response: Oh yes, indeedy - while Part II was mostly about Emily and Lucius, Part III is going to be mostly about Emily and Severus. Hopefully I'll have another chapter up this Monday :-) |
