And, I'm thinking this story is a dastardly plot to deprive Snape and Lucius fans everywhere of sleep. I will go to bed now...I will. I will wait to get the next chapter until tomorrow...yes, I will, I will!

Excellent story! Now, I must immediatly shut down my computer to resist the urge to read the next chapter...can't wait to see if she discovers Lucius's deception, duplicity, and all around bad-guyness and hope she and Snape can get along better in the near future. I love Lucius too, but really, he's just so evil. He needs to be taken down a peg or twelve.

Your writing is beautiful, and I love the way you have of describing the settings without being cumbersome with it. I've noticed in a few places your prose gets a little repetitive, but not overly much. In a few places I noticed when you have someone whispering you put it italics but not quotations and that can make it awkward because I don't immediatly recognise it as something that is being spoken...it reads as something that's being thought about and then I catch the bit about it being whispered. But, I suppose those are small quibbles...this is a very enjoyable story and I'm on to the rest now, trying to pace myself a bit since last time I read the full first part in two days. :-)
