3: What Shall Be Our Sport Then? |

This is -haunting-! I have always enjoyed fics which portray Snape as a darker character; I think they certainly do more justice to his personality than those that tend toward fluff....
This is remarkable. I have read three or four chapters and had to pause to tell you how much I've enjoyed it... and to gather my breath, truth be told.
SS is frightening, in this story, and intensely erotic. It's a distressing juxtaposition, albeit one I am enjoying immensely. |

1: I SHOW MORE MIRTH THAN I AM MISTRESS OF |

In my opinion, this story is a classic and a gem in the Snape/OFC Potterverse genre. It's particularly memorable for me, as I've reread this fic atleast 3 times -something which I don't normally do with fanfiction since I tend to go through it like fast food. But this piece is fine caviar in comparison. If you've read Snape and OFC before and have been disappointed or are new to it, I guarantee that once you read this one, it will open your eyes to the stellar examples of excellent OFC fiction. LL;PL is masterfully erotic, bittersweet and poignant. Snape is a nasty man and matches his canon characterization but make no mistake, this is a very adult world. He's cruel, elegant and sexy and utters dialog that was tailor made for the velvety proper voice of Alan Rickman. Celia is extraordinary in her ordinary-ness and you will find yourself feeling her experiences in the company of the Potions Master - both the pleasurable and the ugly. I for one will never listen to Madame Butterfly the same way again..
Two warnings:
The erotic interludes are scorching so have a cold shower readily available.
You may also find yourself weeping uncontrollably - so do have tissue handy.
