Laughed madly at this. The darling man can be a bit thick at times, can't he? And the little reunion scene in the hotel was hilarious...mmm...snogging Snape with a nose-bleed! | Ack! Well, that sure explains why Severus didn't sense her all those years. I hope the next chapter details how she killed Bella, who deserved to die painfully. Yeesh! I am also hoping that Mahaut's magical powers are just stiff, from being unused all these years. She's not going to want a ring now, after "being" one for so long. Hmm, lemme guess.... there's more stuff about Bella after her Azkaban escape (Book 5) and being a Death Eater again with Severus during his spy years? Groan.... Author's Response: you'll just have to wait and see, i can't tell you without spoiling the final chapter, but I can tell you that some of your questions won't get answered until the sequel. currently working under the title "the Colchian Inheritance" but that might change. Author's Response: why thank you, it must be that innately dirty mind of mine. please read ch5, coz the juries still out on whether those lemons were wierd(my opinion) or unusual (kathy's opinion -she may just be being sweet coz she's heard i bite and my muzzles in the shop at the moment) | |||

| I enjoyed reading your original take on Snape's final years at school, and the reason he "turned." Continuing to enjoy Minerva's central role in this story. Author's Response: I didn't realise i was being original, maybe I should read more so I can work my way up to derivative. Minerva gets more to do in the sequel that I'm working on. | What a lovely and unique bouquet! I've never heard of snowdrops. Now, how did Bella hide Mahaut's presence from Severus' mind for 18 years? Why did they assume Mahaut was dead when they only received two fingers? Author's Response: Snowdrops are lovely, but quite hard to establish. They like shaded areas under trees and come out at about this time of year.They grow about 4" tall and have delicate bell shaped flowers, there is a tiny valley just outside Helmsley in North Yorkshire that I often drive past that has about a million of them, and en-mass like that they do look like snow, it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I wasn't aware that they were particularly British though, sorry if I confused you, I'm sure you would be able to find a pic on the Royal Horticultural Society websit or somewhere like that if you're really interested. They grow from bulbs. I can't explain all of why they thought poor Mahaut was dead yet without spoiling ch6, but part of it was because Severus' pain stopped, and the note of course. Thanks for reviewing. Sorry I rambled(Just never, ever get me started on medieval history, or the history of sex!- I'll be here for days!) | |||
