ROFL! Oh, this is too funny! "Most of the men I meet who like Harry Potter are total geeks, unlike you." This is choice!

Ooooo, what a fun prospect! I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

I laughed so much at Snape trying to brew a potion in the coffee maker! And I'm wondering what that pink cloud is and whether it will cause problems if they go back to Snape's room! Update soon!

I want to do some Bertie Bott's Shots! I love the thought that Snape brewing potions and a complimentary coffee maker! Wizarding Viagra, the thought made me chuckle.

Author's Response: I did Bertie Bott's Shots at the last convention in Ottawa for the first time - but we didn't use vodka as a chaser. Personally, I'm not a fan of jelly beans flavoured like vomit or dirt, but hey, whatever you like, eh? Thanks for reading and I'm glad you're enjoying yourself!

LOL. I can not wait to see what "lies" ahead for our hero.

Ha I have to laugh at this story. It is really cute and fun to read. It is light and fluffy and just the stuff to come sit down to after a long day of teaching dunderheads! Thanks for this update!

Author's Response: You're very welcome! Of course, I find that after a long day of teaching dunderheads, writing this stuff can be a bit of a challenge. Mostly I just drag my butt through my door, groaning "I'm soooo tired." Don't you find?

Hee! I had hysterics when the Muggle women started fighting over Snape! Can't wait to find out what happens next! How's he going to choose between them??

LOL! The idea of Snape eating hot dogs made me laugh! Good chapter!

Oops, I appear to have got rather behind in my reading. Apologies! Loved the description of Snape settling into his room!

Sorry, but since I fled the madness of New England to return to my native Michigan 9 years ago, my familiarity with the landscape and wilderness areas is sadly out of date. I do know, however, that if anything, the traffic is worse than it was, which was considerable, and the urban sprawl can only be worse. 50 miles would take at least an hour to drive, if one were on highways, and only if it wasn't rush hour (which would make it 2 hours' travel), and rush hour was expanding to be all day long. The area is mostly wall to wall suburbs, where one town blends into another, and the only way you know that you've crossed a city boundary is that the street sign and fire hydrant colors change (and usually the road name, too). Signs of road names and such are sporadic (one has to be born there or travel extensively on foot to be able to navigate). When I visited Salem, I don't know if there was a harbor, but there was a lovely cove, marshy and smelling of salt. Hope it's not covered in condos now. The museum was quite tawdry (this was back in the 80's--they may have done some renovations since). A typical tourist trap (unlike Plimoth Plantation or Colonial Willamsburg, which try to be authentic). We went with my daughter's Brownie troop--and then later, I took some Japanese exchange students there. I like the Snape Sisters idea! The thought of the Potions Master picking up a harem for his own entertainment is rather squicky to me, but makes for an interesting story. Hogwarts is rather isolated, after all, and a man of a certain reputation might be hard up for femine companionship.... Did I tell you it's a great story? Well, it is! Keep on writing!

Author's Response: Wow. Thanks for all the information! I can actually hardly wait until this October, when I can see Salem in person. I haven't been to the Boston area since I was a baby, so I have no memory of it at all. All of my info is from the Internet - and I've added my imagination, hoping that my readers won't mind a bit of... well... making it up as I go along? Anyway, I really appreciate you taking your time and effort to give me such great feedback. It's really useful! And I'm glad you like the story - that makes me happy enough to do the Snoopy dance right here and now! *grin* And I don't think Snape intended to pick up a harem - I get the feeling he didn't think any of them would be seriously wanted to spend time with him that evening, so he was just... hedging his bets and it backfired. If that makes any sense...
