wicked! Are you keeping this to a one shot? It can certainly stand on it's own, but I'm greedy and want more...
Author's Response: Thanks, kodiak1! [Yes, it is only a one shot, but there's a companion piece to it on Wolfsbane called "Endless Dreams"] :) |

Huh... that gave me chills, especially the last line. As much as I love the "good guy" Severus: yours - with his strictly utilitarian view of things, and even Remus - is strangely compelling.
Author's Response: Thank you, Yulara! I normally don't write Severus like this, but this just wouldn't leave me ;) |

Very nicely done introspection piece. I can really see Severus hedging his bets on both sides. I like how he mentioned that Dumbledore almost caught on. Interesting how he could see he could get what he wanted no matter which side won.
Author's Response: Thanks, phoenix! Your reviews are always greatly appreciated, and I'm thrilled that you enjoy mork work ;) |

Nicely duplicitious. I do like a sneaky Snape!
Author's Response: I, as well...even though sometimes I don't want to admit it ;) |

I do like the air of perfect, cold-blooded sociopathy that you breathe into Snape. It's very convincing. especially given that he's using Lupin, the ultimate nice guy, in such a profoundly cold-hearted manner, and without a trace of remorse. Your last line is particularly chilling! Nice work!
Author's Response: Thanks, mouse. That's exactly what I was aiming for, and it's wonderful to hear that it worked. |
