| Very fun! and fits into canon quite well. Loved this line--"What would I have had to do to you lot if I'd asked to use the toilet, hmm?" What an introduction to the Dursleys! Liked how you balanced humor with the seriousness of the situation--the "perhaps we could reassure the Muggles that I will soon be killed. Slowly and painfully" line was priceless, very funny and heartbreaking at the same time.

| Very interesting beginning! I look forward to seeing what comes next! I like what you've done with Petunia. She's still snobbish, but not overly so...more well rounded and human. Also, great job on Snape! He looks and sounds very cannon. :) ~Aeryn Author's Response: I was worred I'd make Petunia too sympathetic, but there had to be tension between her and Vernon.
