Reviews for The Birthday Party

snapeaddict 2005.01.17 - 07:33AM 1: Chapter 1 Signed
*lol* I loved the party games, though something tells me I would prefer "Truth or Hex" over "Spin the Blast-Ended Skrewt". *g* And nice to see his birthday wish come true...nymnphomaniac, Nymphadora...who can tell the difference anyway? :-)

Author's Response: Hee! Hee! Truth or Hex might be better but Spin the Blast-Ended Skrewt has that element of danger. Let's just hope ol' Snape comes back from the Caribbean with a smile on his face. Thanks for the review! :)

Well, I'd already read it as you know, but thought I'd come and look at it in all its glory over here! I forgot to mention how much I liked the ideas for party games - especially Spin the Blast-Ended Skrewt, lol! And the line "I must find a way to keep birthdays from coming." Hope to see more stories from you soon!

Author's Response: Thanks for all your words of encouragement. You've really got me thinking about working more on my Rosemerta/Snape story. You'll be one of the first to know when I add on to it. Anyway, so glad you like the party I threw for Severus. He certainly deserves a more pleasurable celebration. (smirk)

This was a fun read! I love his birthday wish and the way you incorporated it into the ending. And who wouldn't love the Padfoot reference? Good job!

Author's Response: Glad you liked it! I thought poor Severus needed an extra special gift this year. We were born the same year and us "Rats" (Chinese zodiac) have to stick together. Oh, and I LOVE to kick the ol' dog when I can. LOL!

You're my limerick friend, correct? This was very cute, and I loved the party games! Nice unexpected ending, too. Great job!

Author's Response: That would be me! (grin) The silliness is still eeking out of my brain. I'm glad you like the party games. Makes me wonder what their version of "Twister" is like? Glad you liked my story. Thanks!

This was so funny! I love stories that include Tonks and Hagrid was adorable!

Author's Response: I love Tonks too! I wish there were more Tonks/Snape fics out there. They are so opposite of each other but the relationship does work, with humorous effects. Hagrid IS such a kid...a very BIG kid. He cracks me up.

Very funny, and many excellent lines in this one. My favorite: "I must find a way to keep birthdays from coming." (If Snape finds a way, I hope he lets me in on the secret.) Great cameos by Sirius and Nymphadora. Thanks!

Author's Response: LOL! Notice the line rings very similar to a certain line spoken by "The Grinch?" Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I do enjoy this story! I'm glad his wishes have a chance of coming true! And the dog is priceless!
~Lisa

Author's Response: Oh Lisa, I knew you would enjoy the dog reference. (grins) I put that in to honor our little club. Thanks again for checking over my punctuation. Btw, those darn bunnies have been invading my sleep patterns again. LOL!

Very funny! LOL

Author's Response: I'm so happy you liked it! It was a fun one to write. Thanks!

LOL! I loved the end! That was very funny...though poor Snape on his past birthdays...spin the blastended skrewt! Heh! Great job! ~Aeryn

Author's Response: Thanks! I just love the Tonks/Snape ship. She's such a clutz and he's so graceful, but together, they have some "wild" moments. Ah yes, spin the blast ended skrewt...Hee! Hee! Wizard party games don't seem to be as harmless as muggle ones. Glad I made you laugh!
