As with the first story (I read the whole thing before I started this one) Part L, this is a great story! You have done a wonderful job defining Severus's character (very much in cannon I think) and your new Deveroux character. Both are so strong willed and stubborn that it makes for a very tense plot. I have really liked your insinuation that Severus is of vampire backgroud (I am guessing that his father was vampire and his mother was witch?) You give us little hints and slips that just tantalize us for more. It is so dramatic to watch Severus go from hardened vengful killer (I was tinking of Pettegrew's death in Part L) who has given up on himself to some one who is struggling to be something good and human again. Great job. If I could give you a rating higher than 10 I would!
Author's Response: Wow! I'm speechless ... thank you!
As for Snape's parents, you'll find out in the next chapter, which I hope to put up soon. I'm glad you and about everyone else reviewing seem to be enjoying this tale -- we are certainly enjoying spinning it :) |

Wow! Again Pigwidgeon, I am blown away. you have a beautiful Snape trying hard not to be vulnerable (ie. Human) and a wonderful elf. Kudos! ~Lisa
Author's Response: Thanks! That scene took a while to get right. I think my best friend and I went through ... well, many drafts before we hit on the right tone. |
