Reviews for Potter's Bar

Enjoyed the story, but I think the warning at the beginning isn't really necessary, after all, Severus could have been much worse... Thanks for writing! ~"~

Author's Response: Point taken. Put warning there as I had placed this in the "humor" category and wasn't sure if all would find Snape's reaction to a plastered Harry amusing; must have forgotten for a moment that I was at Occlumency! Cheers for the review!

Author's Response: Warning has been whisked away! Thank you for the suggestion

Unique, hilarious and extremly in character... very well done! Especially the transformation bit at the end and Snape being his usual snarky self.

Author's Response: Many thanks for the feedback! I must say, after writing Snape a bit differently in other pieces, he is just so much FUN to write this way. Best wishes, Grainne

I certainly enjoyed it! And loved the transfiguring bit towards the end. And I think Harry's learned something about drinking and stealing and finding Snape. None of them are good ideas. ;-D

Author's Response: Yes, Harry did blossom into quite the pain in the arse teenager in OotP, didn't he? But perhaps, for those of us who are not Harry, finding Snape might not be such a bad idea? Cheers for the review!

Very funny story. It made sense because of you initial notes, however. I've never actually played snooker. Pool, yes, snooker no.

Author's Response: Confession: I have never played snooker either, only watched. It is similar in ways to pool...and then not. Glad the humor translated, and thanks for the review!

Loved it! What a great exchange between the characters. I really like how you've kept the characters IC while also making them both likeable, in their own way. Thanks for the fic! Best, Sophie

Author's Response: Cheers!

I am always delighted to read a story involving Snape and his balls. Is there really a pub in Sheffield called the Slug and Fiddle? A very humorous and unique story, and as always, I love your use of language. Ass over kettle: I've never heard that expression before but now that I know of it, I'm sure I will be working it into all of my conversations. Severus Snape as a snooker player. You put your Christmas cracker to very good use!

Author's Response: YAY! It warms the heart to find yours as the first review. There is indeed a pub by that name. It is on the Ecclesall road, and while I have been there I do not, sadly, know the story behind its name. Feel free to invent one. The full form of that esxpression btw is "ass over tea kettle," so use away! Cheers!

Author's Response: Er, make that "expression"
