| Funny how Snape pondered what to do with this woman warming his bed, realizing it's much better than a sad hot water bottle placed by Dobby! Boy, she is good for him! | What did she want from him? Aww yeah I think is one of the quuestions Snape will always be asking himself lol Snape considered this a moment before answering. He had to play his cards just right. Oh yes sir because you are walking a very think line here! I really enjoyed getting more about Athene and all that - and great A/N notes! I like the fact that they are far from being all together happy - that there are still things that are sore - great! It was worth waiting for! :)

| I'm glad you posted today. I am in the foulest of moods and I needed a good laugh. Loved the Legilimency exchange. Many clever lines, as always. I enjoyed the tidbits of Kenyan and Hindu culture you provided in your Notes & Such. Author's Response: Karina is having a terrible day, so I send a cyber-hug her way. Perhaps that housework has been mounting, or there are tax receipts in need of counting? Perhaps her transport is on the blink, or she wants to toss her computer in the drink? Perhaps her hubby's clogged the drain, or she's suffering a large migraine? Or perhaps she is simply feeling blue, and is plagued by readers wanting clues to her clever anagrams that do befuddle even Snape (who is himself in quite a muddle)? Ah, no matter what it is that vexes, for Karina we will resort to hexes, and blast the culprit--thing, man, or beast--to Azkaban, to say the least! | Sounds like that moss was magical after all. A most merry chapter with a thoughtful ending. The feelings between them seem to be warming up nicely without sacrificing his nasty nature (hmm...alliteration is addictive). His cranky sense of entitlement in the last sentence is totally I/C. | "Thank you to all those who support me by reading, rereading, editing, remembering to feed and water me"... Ah, Grainne, my freshly watered pot-plant, a touching chapter, indeed. Semi-Sweet!Snape! Lovely! Although, the chapter was infused with wonderfully humorous lines; one that particularly caught my eye was: "Athene shrugged. "I felt like kicking him. Sometimes it is more satisfying the Muggle way."" That really appealed. Casual violence always seems amusing; that and my dear friend once tried to stab me with a cocktail umbrellla, and afterwards casually stated that she was just trying to cause me pain. Seriously, it happened. Such wonderful friends are hard to come by! Great chapter!
Author's Response: I am glad someone shares my sense of humor (although I need to have a word with that friend of yours...never NEVER harm Obadiah's precious hands, she needs them for writing!) I imagine kicking government officials to be especially satisfying in a world where you can torture someone with a flick of your wand (which is a tad impersonal)...come to think of it, I imagine kicking government officials is satisfying in any kind of world...but that's just me.
