I'm going to tell myself that they found out about his wager anyway and waited just long enough that Dumbledore lost. There's a sense of poetic justice in that, for all his meddling--he gets what he wants, but not on his terms. Great story though.
Author's Response: I like your ending! ;-) Thanks so much for reading and commenting. |

| I would never have been able to keep a straight face during that. From his laughing fit to getting randy over her rump and the alliterative arrogant schpiel...too funny. |

| Now that was fun. You write with such humor and wit, I loved the horse in all of it. Flatulence indeed. |

| Good lord, you don't teach too do you? That multidisciplinary madness sounds all too familiar.
And excellent form creating a character who gives as good as she gets. She'll keep him in his toes, that one.
Fantastic. |

| Oh I'm loving this already. The tension is fantastic and that's what really makes it better when they finally get together. |

| Best line, ever, in any objective (all of us fen are excluded) discussion of Severus Snape: "she soon gave up." |

| It's so nice to see an author affording Severus a few moments of simple pleasure--he got so little in canon. |

| But what touching House loyalty the two children show in their conclusions! |

I usually don't like Snape/OFC's (jealous or possessive, me?), but this is great. It may be AU, but it's very much in character. I can see Snape reacting exactly that way--both at 16, and now.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your feedback! Believe you me, if I had known what I know now, I never would have dared write an OFC fic...but it was fun at the time. ;-) |

Absolutely loved this story! You write very well. I was skeptical at the beginning, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. When I read the chapter where Snape first called her 'Squidbait' in Dumbledore's office and she responded with 'snivelling' I actually laughed until tears were running down my face. Some of your lines were downright classic! Keep writing! It was all so much fun to read.
Author's Response: I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed this. The beginning does seem very cliche (and verging on Mary-Suish) to me now, but I'm glad that I had the experience of writing the story, and it is nice to know that people actual read it. Thank you. |
