Heh heh....I love the line, "My time is short and your toilet lengthy." I'll have to use that one on my husband, Mr High-Maintainance.

Very nice retelling of a classic tale and perfectly adapted to Snape! Excellent! I throughly enjoyed this...(raised mug to Shadowycat) Three cheers! ~Aeryn

What a lovely ending! I really liked the Neville subplot. Thank you for this fine Christmas present.

I'm so relieved you didn't have Snape running through Hogwarts castle saying Merry Christmas. The right mixture of Dickens and keeping with Snape's character.

I liked the mood you set for this chapter. Excellant use of Sirius!

I like the way you made Snape think about how his actions affect other people.

Nice and soft! It was very Slytherin of him not to admit it lol...Its a nice little ending! Thanks for a very good story!

Heh. I like the way Snape convinces himself that he's unaffected by his ghostly visitors "He hated being predictable, much better to keep them guessing, keep them off balance." So no, he wasn't changing out of an act of goodness, just trying to be unpredictable (can't even be truthful to himself - what a Slytherin!).

This just keeps getting better. I liked the imagry of Snape pulling down his bed curtains in the last moments of life. Touching.
