*raises hand* Please almighty anagram God give me a hint! *bangs her head against a wall*
Author's Response: Hint: It has nothing to do with Neeps and Tatties, either. :-D |

This was an especially powerful chapter, Vocalion. I LOVE and applaud the way you have woven Clancy into the canon events surrounding Sirius's capture (and what I consider to be one of Snape's worst moments) and given us a different perspective. The scene with Remus and the beasties was a fantastic touch (as was Flitwick's makeshift booster seat) and, as ever, I bow to your incredible skill with words and puzzles! My brain wags its tail in thanks for the anagram you have given it to chew on...I have already covered the surfaces of two Post-It notes...
Author's Response: At last, readers are noticing the anagrams! That makes me so happy! Here's a clue: It has nothing whatsoever to do with pineapples! :-D Thanks, Grainne. |

Another good chapter. I like how you blend it with the book.
Author's Response: Thank you. That's half the fun, trying to make it all fit. |

Ok having read this chapter again in order to try and figure the anagram out; I think it also shows how...childish somehow Snape still is...I think the episode in the Shrieking Shack meant very much for Snape and I think you really show that! Great job! Im feeling even more sorry for Snape!
Author's Response: I was complaining to LariLee recently that no reviewers ever mention my anagrams, so I'm delighted you're working on it! Thanks for reviewing, again! |

My friend made me come read earlier chapters of your story over her shoulder, so I would understand why she was giggling and convulsing so...now I am proud to say that I am a victim of your talents in my own right. Thanks for sharing. Now, off to play with letters...
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to let me know you're enjoying the story! I appreciate it. |

Ok wow that dream Snape had made me really sad and Im feeling quite bad about it POOR SNAPE! --Clancy regarded Lupin knowingly. “Yes, I can well imagine why you’d think they might appeal to me.”-- LOL! --“Filius, that’s amazing! How did you solve it so quickly?”-- LOL again you mix the seriousness with humour its wonderful! --“Make it a cold one,” Clancy shot back meanly.-- LOL! Ok Im finding even the smallest of things funny atm forgive me! --A hated tree and heated tear are anagrams for Death Eater!-- Im so proud because I figured this one out too! LOL...Seriously you are one very clever writer Karina - I love those anagrams you are doing! --Clancy left his office and collided with Harry Potter a few paces down the corridor. “Sorry, Miss Norgard,” the young wizard apologized. “Is Professor Lupin still in his office?”-- Wonderful way to involve the PoA storyline with your own! What a great treat you are Karina ;) *hugs Snape* I feel so sorry for him! *buys him a new cauldron* Fantastic chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks, Sniv. It amuses me to turn Harry into a minor character, but I give him an occasional cameo when I'm feeling charitable! :-D |

Oh dear, I'm *so* bad at anagrams that it's worrying. But I console myself with the knowledge that at least I am not stupid enough to miss out on your humour (“Jarveys resemble large ferrets,” Lupin explained, “and they can actually talk. Their remarks consist entirely of rude comments and insults.” Clancy regarded Lupin knowingly. “Yes, I can well imagine why you’d think they might appeal to me.”) and style...
Poor, poor Snape, I feel for him - though somehow I think he should have a bit more faith in Clancy's love. And Clancy - well, she has to put up with a lot, but she seems up to it. Actually I must disagree with both herself and Flitwick - I think she'd have been Sorted into Gryffindor, 'where dwell the brave of heart'. I mean, she's having a relationship with Snape! How much braver can you be??
Er - by the way, am I the only one here who thinks Dr. Pepper is disgusting? And it just *keeps* returning... ;-)
Very good chapter... I'm curious to see what's next.
Author's Response: I suppose Dr. Pepper, like Snape, is an acquired taste, not intended for the faint of heart. Yes, it does keep returning, but I assure you, there is a reason for it. :-D Thanks for reviewing, Sigune! |
