Reviews for A Right Bastard

elysianmusings 2005.10.12 - 11:24PM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
Oh.my.god. You had me bawling my eyes out. Such wonderful writing, and I love that you don't take Snape out of character, his behavior is very believable.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, elysianmusings! I am so glad to hear Snape is still in character, I don't want him to get too soft. :-)

Subversa 2005.10.12 - 01:04PM 11: A Kittenís Claws are Just as Sharp Signed
Severus has got his work cut out for him with this little fireball of a woman. When Severus pulled her into the picture with him and the other Order of Merlin folk, I got a lovely shiver. He means to have her, no matter how hard she fights. Lovely.

Author's Response: I really don't think she's fighting too hard. :-) Thanks, Subversa!

Subversa 2005.10.12 - 04:34AM 10: A London Werewolf in America (You Know I Had to Use That as a Title Eventually) Signed
I love the history of Tricia and Brad, and want to know more. I think it's interesting that Tricia can FEEL Severus being un-authentic, even as he's trying to woo her by being "nice". And I'll imagine the kittens claws are right little razors, actually!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Subversa! You'll find out even more about Tricia and Brad, much more. Severus can't pull as much over on Tricia as he thinks he can, but I think she lets him believe it. :-)

Woo! I love the parallel to Bill O'Reilly and Donald Rumsfeld.

Author's Response: *Author looks most innocently around her* There was a parallel between Bill O'Reilly and Donald Rumsfeld? Really? I'm sure that was mostly unintentional. I hope you believe me. Better yet, I hope the current political party believes me.

Neither lawyer nor neocon! Just a random Lunatic of a pervy fancier of witty conversation!

Author's Response: Thank goodness! I love witty conversation, I could listen to it for hours. I usually choose to be silent and hope it stays witty that way. :-)

Subversa 2005.10.11 - 05:15AM 9: The Obligatory General Angst Chapter or Roses vs. Carnations Signed
ďIn the end, itís words that have magic and give power to magic."

You have taken a character and a situation that has been written to death and made something new and original with them. Bless you, dear Author.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Subversa! I am just so happy you're still with me in reading it. And I'm glad I brought something new to the party. :-)

elysianmusings 2005.10.11 - 12:32AM 13: Operation House-Drop Begins Signed
re: disclaimer I have those very same dreams. Your disclaimers amuse me very much. I should have you write mine. ;) Lovely, dear.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, elysianmusings! I've said before that I write the story to entertain others, but I write the disclaimers to entertain me. :-)

Hey Lisa! I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I think that your are fun, witty, talented and all those other great words that a wtiter wants attributed to them. I also think that you are the best friend a girl could have! Oh, and the story is great too! Angela

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Angela! I appreciate you taking me off review number 666. It scared me. :-)

AzureLunatic 2005.10.10 - 03:33AM 19: Alone Again, Unnaturally Signed
I am enjoying this! I noticed a few too many Randian names for coincidence. *grin*

Author's Response: Thank you so much, AzureLunatic! I'm sure it's just a coincidence. :-) you're not a lawyer, are you? Or a neocon?

Subversa 2005.10.09 - 08:40AM 8: Do Peaches and Lemons Really Go Together? Signed
Uh huh, uh huh ... buttons, more buttons, skirt-chasers, beach houses with Hermione and Remus (I swear I didn't read this before I wrote MoE)...

"Duck and cover, we're getting into fighting words" -- LOUD laugh at that one

"Do you claim me? Do you dare claim me?"

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Subversa! Believe me, I know you did not read this before you wrote Masters of Enchantment. After all, your Severus had fun at the beach. :-)
