Reviews for A Right Bastard

Lana Manckir 2004.11.10 - 03:30PM 5: Who Is Lynne Fields and Why is Severus Saying Such Bad Things About Her? Anonymous
Another great chapter, I love where you're going with it. Patricia is full of surprises and now you really got me curious to find out what she did that was terrible. hope you update soon ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lana! Eventually, you'll find out her last terrible secret... somewhere during the Lycanthropy Conference in California which may be a two part chapter... maybe. About 1/4th of the way through the next chapter. Should be done in the next week. Thanks again! ~Lisa

I-Love-this-story!!! What a magnificent chapter, Lisa! I don't know where to begin. 1)Lynne Fields: I never saw that explanation coming. Very original. 2) The chess game, bubble bath, and massage were hot! 3) Zabini's book...will there be more about this? 4) The Ripley's sound like great people. 5) I want more.

Love it!!! ###Liz

Author's Response: 1). I'm so glad you thought Lynne was an original explanation. I was worried there were too many clues out there. 2). I'm especially glad the bubble bath was hot. Cold baths are a pain. 3). Zabini's book? Well, books will play an important part, but I'm not sure about Blaise's book (probably entitled: "Am I a boy or a girl? Draco Doesn't Care".) 4). There is only one good branch on the Ripley tree and that's Beauregard. 5). So do I, but... oh, you mean the story! Sorry, I'm working on it. 3 pages out of 15 for chapter 6. The great American Adventure. Thanks! ~Lisa

This is the best Snape/OFC story I've read in a while - Tricia is lovely, and I like your Snape too. I'm glad the rabid plot bunnies are active - for our sakes at least. I will be watching eagerly for updates.

Author's Response: Thank you, Claribel! I hope it continues to keep your interest as we continent hop for a bit. Working on chapter 6 where Severus meets Tricia's family. And the rabid plot bunnies seem to be breeding. Or it's the drugs. Thanks! ~Lisa

May I borrow a copy of Destiny's Doorknob? Sounds intriguing. Taggart Enterprises? Are you an Atlas Shrugged fan? Favorite line: Ice Lolly Follies. Great bathtub scene, too.

Author's Response: I'm sorry, honey. Destiny's Doorknob hasn't been turned back in... I hear it's been locked up in publishing. Never read Ayn Rand, but Taggarts and Montgomerys (who are to come in a later chapter) are my firm nod to Jude Devereaux who writes about Muggle families of the same name. I probably should admit to not owning them either. Glad you liked the Icy Lolly Follies. I think Severus did, too. The bathtub scene wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. And I just couldn't stop it or take it out. ~Lisa

I'm really enjoying what I've read so far. Very nice ... and lemony. Lol. Can't wait for the next chapter, and to find out the significance to Severus of Lynne Fields. Please don't keep me waiting too long ... lol.

Author's Response: Thank you, Obadiah! Chapter 5 is in queue... now how is Rosie doing? Did I mention there are more lemons in Chapter 5? :-D ~Lisa

OK, I'm leaving you some feedback here too. Aaaaahh! A cliffie! I demand to know who this Lynne Fields person is about. Come on! Get on with it! LOL!! But I see Chap 5 is on its way here. Yeah! Btw, love ya back!

Author's Response: Thanks, Deb! I have to admit, I like evil cliffies... it's my way of making sure people come back. :-D ~Lisa

Tell your muse to settle down. It's a really interesting story. What on earth did Ripley's brother have for brains to empty the kids' college accounts??

Author's Response: I'm going to get my muse into a therapist one of these days. Beau was desperate... his reasons will come out later. Thanks! ~Lisa

Nice work! I'd get pretty caught up writing lemons too. I'm dying to read the next chapter, and can't believe you had the audacity to leave us hanging like that. Naughty author! Haha, peace! Love, me.

Author's Response: Thanks Emmeline! Those lemons just sometimes demand squeezing, don't they? I'm very naughty. I think a few detention with Professor Snape should help that, don't you? :-D Peace! ~Lisa

Ahhhh! why do you always leave us hanging like that? LOL Can't wait for chap 5 and you're doing a wonderful job in this story ;-)

Author's Response: Thanks, Lana! I keep you hanging so you'll come back. :-D And because the evil plot bunny tells me to and he's holding my muse hostage at the moment. ~Lisa

Excellent chapter! I'm enjoying this fic so much. I'm amazed it's your first.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Melpomene! To have you say such kind things is amazing to me as I just adore your stories! ~Lisa (who will re-read The Intruder just to cry over it again)
