Reviews for A Right Bastard

Sniv 2005.03.07 - 02:21PM 19: Alone Again, Unnaturally Signed
It wasn’t until her second bite that she realized she was trying to eat her soup with a fork. Aw I feel so sorry for her! “Everyone knows the Snapes are impossible.” Oh yeah but we still love him! LOL @ the portraits and poor Albus lol! “He’s out of the picture. If we get this Werewolf Protection Act passed as quickly and easily as I think we will, and she continues being America’s Sweetheart, I’d say plan on a June wedding.” *spills her tea on the floor*!!!! ...off to visit Madam Macy’s in Knockturn Alley. Ok first of all that reminded me of one of your other stories, second; this is not a way to forget her Snape! “And once you did that,” he queried easily, “you were able to reach the stars?” Aha...blah blah. Great to see an update here - I really hope there'll be some good plotting in the next chapterrrrrrrrrrr! lol

Author's Response: Thank you, Sniv! I'm sorry about the tea thing. But I used Madam Macy's in this story. It was a Saturday ritual, at dinner at Mario's (the restaurant he took her to before the interview), then off to Madam Macy's for dessert. To me, I think it sounds a little too... structure. There will not only be plotting in the next chapter, it'll start making sense (it only took me 20 chapters to make it make sense, but I did *g*).

Obadiah Slope 2005.03.03 - 02:45PM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
Oh, good God...you know, when you said that his proposal would be bad, I didn't quite see it being that bad! :-( Puts my Severus' poor proposal to shame: why the hell didn't he fuck up everything that they had, inadvertently bind her and cause her horrendous pain and suffering? "He began praying to Merlin for her safety. Just for her safety. He didn’t deserve her." Exactly right, Severus darling. He's got a lot of working out to do, hasn't he? As does Tricia. *sob* You've got me crying!!

Author's Response: I'm so sorry I made you cry, Obadiah! All I can say in his defense, is that he really lost his temper. He has a long history of not being able to think straight when he's angry (think "Shrieking Shack"). He's got a lot of making up to do for this. And some divine intervention!

Pigwidgeon 2005.03.01 - 08:55AM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
Oh man, I about cried! I more felt like smacking Severus, though, I think that won out. How could he be so ... so DENSE?? Loved the cute exchange between Albus and Severus, that was a nice light moment before ... well, before Tricia's and Severus' world came crashing down. I hope Draco and many others give Snape and earful, he so has it coming.

Author's Response: Thank you, Pigwidgeon! This is a difficult chapter, but I'm glad that's out of the way and I think you'll like the resolution. He really is dense about matters of the heart. But you don't have to worry about others taking his butt, he's kicking it right now himself. :-)

Pixy 2005.03.01 - 04:06AM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
idiot... So now what? Shes his slave now? Oh man he is in so much trouble. *heavy sigh* Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you, Pixy! No, she Repudiated his claim which makes it null and void. If she hadn't, it would've been an unequal relationship because it would be against her wishes. But he's still in so much trouble! Nearly a third of the way through the next chapter, so it shouldn't be too long!

How could I possibly abuse your bunnies that way? Severus is getting exactly what he deserves for hiding from his feelings. I do feel bad for Tricia, but she's absolutely right in insisting that he tell her -- that he acknowledge that a relationship is not something that can be controlled. Be strong, LariLee! You're doing the rght thing for them!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, matf, and the bunnies are grateful too! I just feel so badly for Tricia. I've got to write her out of this and make her happy! Thank you again,

What on Earth can I say that I haven't already said a zillion times before? Since all of Occlumency knows that I cried my eyes out over this story, all I can say is YOU GOT ME GOOD!!! This story is like literary crack to me! Tricia is one of my top 3 favorite OFC's; one is yours, one is Karina's, and one is mine--and you know, I have 2 OFC's--which means that I prefer Tricia to one of mine.

Lisa, LariLee, Dear, I want, desire...no, I NEED another chapter! I don't want to stay mad at Severus for much longer. I feel for him, but my heart was breaking for Tricia's in this chapter, not his. Ane you know how I love my Severus!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Ellie darlin'! It's the story is literary crack would that make you... nevermind, we're not going there. I'm so glad you liked Tricia so much and things will get better for her, I promise.

I'm working on the next chapter now and have about a fifth of it done. I'm updating as quickly as possible because we have to get these two people back together! Thank you so much!

I'm a Hufflesniff. Thats a house where everyone bitches and moans when shit doesn't go their way. And are to lazy to do anything about it.

Author's Response: LOL! Oh, pink, you slay me sometimes! I want to quote you on this! Okay, you've bitched, you've moaned -- now get back to work! ~Lisa

I've given up writing. Everytime I write a good story, they pull it for content and I lose evrything. I've had enough.

Author's Response: Pink, everyone knows that fanfiction.net has kicked off so many good stories and so many good writers that they are eventually going to go under. SyncothantHex has never pulled your story, have they? So you are going to upset all of us because of a few idiots. A true Slytherin would plot revenge. A true Gryffindor would fight them. A Ravenclaw would outwit them. And a Hufflepuff would keep on. Congratulations, you've just been thrown out of Hogwarts! You get your ass back to work, now. I'll find you if you don't!

pinkcorsair 2005.02.28 - 05:58PM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
You haven't updated again yet? It's been over 12 hours now! GEEZ!!

Author's Response: YOU have the NERVE to question ME about when I'M updating! You get your butt back to the keyboard and start writing on some of these WiPs you've got running around!
~Lisa :-)

Grainne 2005.02.28 - 03:42PM 18: When Good Proposals Go Bad Signed
LariLee, this one punched me in the gut...even though I was expecting things to go amiss, I never would have imagined such a wonderful, powerful, heartbreaking scene. BRAVA! I was literally reaching out to my monitor and flailing my hands in a useless attempt to save Severus from himself. Great sex and logic does not a marriage make--how true. Before the heartbreak, I got a kick out of various details, such as the term "guest-master" (brilliant!) and the cameo by the Giant Squid (I think he could get a job doing anti-litter PSAs!) As for the elation/despair transition, your experience shows...I found it spot on. They are two sides of the same coin, aren't they?

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Grainne! This was such a heartbreaking chapter, I really wish I could've stopped Severus. But they say you never appreciate something until you lose it. We shall see!
