Wow! I'm sure glad there are more chapters coming. I love his new alias, Right, Right Bastard. Oh, and hagrid in a Speedo helped me cool back down to normal
Author's Response: Thank you, Trickie Woo! I am actually working on chapter 21 tonight, so you should have enough to keep you busy for a little bit. :-) I hope you keep on enjoying this! And Hagrid in a Speedo could help anyone cool down, well, I'm sure there are some exceptions. :-) ~Lisa |

"Well, that would be a bloody first, he thought with sarcasm. Well, if it does not work, I shall simply Obliviate them and try it again."....I just loved this bit. I'm sure there are many people out there who would love to do this....All in all so many wonderful things I like about this story, unfortunately you are getting the random ones I actually remembered. :D Of course, doesn't help I saw "Meet the Parents" recently and can't help but have disadtrous feelings about this. Especially given how Sev comes off to most people, though his trying and doing pretty good so far.
Author's Response: Thank you, Phoenix! I really wish I could Obliviate or do Imperio. It would make my plans for world domination much easier. Snape is trying, very trying. :-) ~Lisa |

I have eagerly awaited each chapter of this story and an on pins and needles waiting for the next.
I wanted to let you know that it's lovely and having a past that resembles Trica's I think you're doing a great job.
Jinxy
Author's Response: Jinxy, this is very high praise and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope your present and future are much better! ~Lisa |

“I’ll just have to Obliviate her if that happens,” he said nonchalantly, grinning down at her. “Just like I Obliviated you when I forgot your birthday.” LOL! And interesting conversation Snape had with Hagrid...“I understand how things are done in California, New York City, Roanoke Island, Australia, Canada, most of Europe, and parts of South America,” Tricia countered with a smile. *claps*! “That boy’s happiness is the one roadblock to my retirement.” LOL! The little smile that said ‘you might think I’m senile, but I know something you don’t know’. Ahh yes that smile! LOL! “I don’t want to love him anymore,” she declared. “You don’t understand, Carol. He doesn’t love me.” *Sniff* Please do not hurt me! LOL aww LariLee I would never do that...well maybe if you did not update often enough ;) Lovely update I liked it! Nice to see all these people and connections and plans and...ok well everything! Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Sniv! I'm so happy you found so much to like about this chapter. In fact, the bunnies are dancing! ~Lisa |

5: Who Is Lynne Fields and Why is Severus Saying Such Bad Things About Her? |

My wait was well rewarded. Excellent scene in Sev's quarters. And I absolutely loved the whole trashy romance novel aspect. The luncheon scene was a great way to bring that little gem up. I almost spit tea all over my monitor when I read that.
You do realize I'm never going to get any work done until I catch up on this? Well, I'm going to have to force myself to do work. I'm really glad you expanded the challenge. This is a refreshing story because it's not all set at Hogwarts and its a different type of female lead, rather than a professor. Okay, I've only read about a dozen fics so far so I shouldn't make a broad generalization.
Author's Response: Thank you, Phoenix! You do realize that work is a four letter word? We will definitely get you reading more as Sycophant Hex hosts some of the best Snape fiction around! I'm glad you're enjoying! ~Lisa |

Such plotting! And I'm still worried about that bastard Montgomery. Nothing is ever easy for these two, is it? :-)
Author's Response: Thank you, sophierom! No, nothing is easy for them, but then the road to true love never ran smooth. ~Lisa |

AAAAAHHHHHH!!!! It's bed time and I will be utterly exhausted in the AM if I stay up to find out who Lynne Fields is. This is really a great story and you are developing it well. I love the little cliffhangers you are leaving. Will be back tomorrow for more. :)
Author's Response: Thank you, Phoenix! That is a great compliment! You go to bed and have a good nights sleep. The story will be here tomorrow. ~Lisa |

They. Need. To. Be. Together. What is up? I'm getting irritated by Severus. He's such a whiny baby, the poor boo. I feel this falls in line with all those in his sex, actually. I like this chapter very much, especially Montgomery. Every female meets at least one man like this in their lives. I missed Tricia this chapter, as there was very little insight into her state of mind. Still satisfied, though. More, please!
Author's Response: Thank you, Mariana! Yes, underneath all those buttons and black robes, Severus as a typical man at heart. :-) I wish I could say I've only met one Montgomery in my life, but alas, I'd be lying. Tricia will be heading up the next chapter. I'm glad you're still enjoying it! ~Lisa |

Interesting. This has the feel of a transitional chapter, but there are hints here of what's going on. I love the line "Never confuse innocence with stupidity." I admit I was afraid Tricia would fall for Montgomery, but she appears to be on to his tricks. *Phew* And Severus is starting to get a clue -- and from Hagrid of all people! He's certainly learning to look beyond the surface -- just as he wants his students to do. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, matf! Yes, it was a transitional chapter and I really am not fond of writing those. Now the next chapter, is one I've been dying to write! Tricia worked Hollywood doing celebrity interviews and was well liked doing it. So she's used to dealing with superficial, plastic people which I think helped prepare her for Montgomery. :-) ~Lisa |

So the game's afoot...and I didn't think they'd get back together that quickly. A polished chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you, Apothecaria! They've got a lot of people pulling to get them back together... the students of Hogwarts, her friends, his friends, but most importantly, Albus Dumbledore. :-) I'm so glad you liked it! ~Lisa |
