Reviews for A Right Bastard

phoenix 2005.03.17 - 06:53PM 10: A London Werewolf in America (You Know I Had to Use That as a Title Eventually) Signed
The shower scene was wonderful. Absolutely loved it. Very steamy, in more way than one. ;)...Nice tidbits on the background. I especially like the way it's causing Severus to question his motives. Very deep....As for the cliffie, that was a very mean one, but I like it. Guarantees I'm going to read the next chapter. :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Phoenix! I toss a mean little cliffie in every so often. :-) I'm so glad you're still with me!

Wow I made the bunnies dance? Lol! :)

Author's Response: Yes, Sniv, and it's a big relief over what they're usually doing!

Trickie Woo 2005.03.17 - 03:53AM 6: Put Your Wand in the Box or the Chapter Where Plot Elements are Added--Finally Signed
Are Spell phones as ubiquitous in the USA Wizarding World as they are in the Muggle World? Do the Wizard Teens at Roanoke look like they are either attached to them by a type of umbilical cord or they are a growth on the side of their heads? Actually it's not only teens who look like that in the Muggle world, plenty of adults do too. The chapter kept the plot moving, but it was the Spell phones that got me. I wonder if verizon has a Spell phone plan with Unlimited Minutes? Maybe I could sign up and talk to Snape.

Author's Response: Some really great questions there, Trickie Woo! I can just see the Verizon guy walking around the edge of the Forbidden Forest, asking, "Can you hear me now?" And then getting eaten by a dragon or giant spider. :-)

phoenix 2005.03.17 - 01:08AM 9: The Obligatory General Angst Chapter or Roses vs. Carnations Signed
More wonderful instalments. I love the way you are working wonderful lemons into an intriguing plot. The little comedic moments are great, too. The characters are all wonderful. More catching up to come tomorrow. :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Phoenix! I'm so glad you're still with me and still enjoying it!

Trickie Woo 2005.03.17 - 01:05AM 5: Who Is Lynne Fields and Why is Severus Saying Such Bad Things About Her? Signed
The plot and smut are moving along nicely. I'm anxious to see now what Snape and the USA make of each other.

Author's Response: Thank you, Trickie Woo! I'm glad you're still enjoying!

Trickie Woo 2005.03.16 - 11:51PM 4: Why Southern Women Don't Drink (and Why British Men Think They Should) Signed
Good chapter, moves the plot along and has smut. I took Latin as my foreign language in high school. It was probably the best academic decision I ever made. Knowing the roots of words is helpful for everything you study, read, or use in your career field. It helps you figure out so many things on your own. Translating Ceasar was boring as hell, but 4 years ago I found myself at Richborough Castle, the Roman port of entry to Britain and it all came alive for me. They had to drag me away that day.

Author's Response: Thank you, Trickie Woo! As Latin is the basis of all the Romance languages, I used quite a bit of its when I go with medical terminology and found it fascinating! That sounds like a lovely trip and I can definitely understand your enjoyment of it!

I am horribly guilty of almost never writing reviews. Sadly this is due to the fact that it is what I do for a living, and we all know about the plumber who has leaky pipes. I am setting aside my normal habbits in part because I pity the poor plot bunnies, and also because I have not been addicted to a piece of fiction so thoroughly since the last work of her majesty Queen Rowling. You have a very great talent. I thank you both for a full evening of wonderful prose and a full night of dreams about a certain potions master. Another note: Bring back your muse and your bunnies. They were cute and I miss them. The squeaky wheel gets the oil after all.

Author's Response: The fact that you would leave me a review when you don't leave many, makes it mean that much more to me. Thank you, jcb! The muses and the plot bunnies are still around. Believe me! I tried selling them at the yard sale nobody bought them. It might have helped if the muse would have put down her knife. Good Snapey dreams!

Trickie Woo 2005.03.16 - 10:48PM 3: The Chapter That is Character Heavy But Lemon Light Signed
Ron & Draco discussing Snape and Draco's new breasts, it's so nauseating that it's hilarious. Another well written chapter. I am enjoying this as much as "Through Time and Space" on Fanfic. I am going to recommend it to LadyLuck321 and I recommend hers to you. The bachelor and bachelorette patries are not to be missed.

Author's Response: Thanks, Trickie Woo! And I certainly appreciate the recommendation! I shall be reading "Through Time and Space"!

You are an excellent descriptive writer, you do a fantastic job of painting the pictures I see in my mind. Your grammar, spelling and punctuation are quite good, if that is bad I quickly give up on a story, but I've only noticed a few errors and none were major. That was a delightful breakfast, I haven't had a breakfast like that since I was a newlywed, many years ago. I am looking forward to reading many more chapters.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Trickie Woo! If you would like the e-mail me any errors, I would love to see them corrected. I am Packsim@aol.com. Breakfasts like that... oh, it's been awhile.

Titania 2005.03.16 - 09:20PM 20: Operation: Destiny Signed
Well damn! I am forced to wait..longer! Please hurry up and post the next. I am anxious to see how the rest of "Operation:Destiny" unfolds! Live long and prosper, Titania

Author's Response: Chapter 21 will conclude Operation: Destiny. I'm working on it, Titania. Thank you! Live long and prosper also,
~Lisa
