This is by far the greatest fanfiction I've ever read, and trust me, I've read a lot of them. Indeed, I too, love the fact that Snape is in character all the time. Brilliant, just brilliant. Too bad you left it unfinished. |

This may sound like conspiracy theory, but my suspicions are with Octavia. She was the one who had charmed her door. She could remove the charm to enter and poison the water. She had been away and the poison had been a foreign element. Snape suspected her of something: either an imposter or Imperio. And Octavia had not been herself when she returned; she had to warm up to be herself again. |

"Please do not tell me, Miss Knight, that I went through the trouble of angering a snake and potentially endangering myself so that you could learn nothing from it."
I had to laugh. |

Persephone descended because she was admired. This woman descends like the fly to the spider's web. Excellent chapter. |

Actually, I approve of a relationship with Lupin. It will help keep her sane. |

"It is all one and the same, you see, but you will not be the one to discover this truth."
So he agrees that it is all natural and explainable. He knows that she is right, but he refuses to allow that she may find proof. I suppose that's a hidden encouragement even so. |
