great trilogy as well as lupin's story! I am so glad you are on chapter 65. This story is as riveting as the first 2. Thanks for writing and sharing your plot bunnies with the rest of us!

Author's Response: Thank you for your comments. I'm glad you're enjoying.

*Whew* I was really ready to get angry with Autumn. I'm loving reading this collection of stories! I came into it from Neither Man Nor Beast and am finally catching up on the 3 parts you've written here on Occlumency. Keep up the good work :-)

Author's Response: Thank you for your comments! I'm glad you're enjoying. As for being angry with Autumn, eh. Join the club. That's something of a common response to her, and I consider it a compliment.

That was intense! You really came in like a cobra for a quick strike to the tension center. I was really hopping you were not going to leave us in the middle of that scream...I am so glad! Great chapter!

Author's Response: lol! I really don't make attempts to do cliff-hangers. They just happen. I usually call it a chapter somewhere between 3000 and 5000 words, depending on where scenes end.

Thanks for your comments!

Can I just say that I've been a total iditot for not reading your other stories until just recently (Still Waters and I'm through Ch. 10 in Bittersweet)? You have such a creative mind and it expresses itself beautifully in your stories. Another fantastic chapter, keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Thank you for your comments. I have to say that it astounds me the courage people have to come into a story so far in progress. I'd take a look at it, see how much came before it, and abandon all thought of reading it. I'm glad you're made of sterner stuff than I am!

Hey there! I just spent the better part of a week reading your works. (Just caught up with this last one FTWMD and started reading NMNB on Wolfsbane). I really love your characterization of SS --it's one of the best I've read. And I love the way the SS/RL friendship has evolved. I have a few burning questions though: 1) What did the rest of that star chart that Aislinn did of Severus say? 2) What the heck happened to the Marauder's map of London that was introduced in Bittersweet? Why hasn't the Order been using it given the current circumstances? 3) It's been mentioned several times that Aislinn was not SS's type yet Autumn is although why specifically that is has not been made clear to me. Anyway, thanks for a great story. Can't wait for more updates.

Author's Response: Thank you for your comments. Let's see. The star chart...

That was actually my own astrological interpretation (based on an incorrectly guessed birthdate for Snape, though I was only a few days off!) Normally when I'm doing a chart interp, I'll write 50 pages or so. I didn't want to write it all out, though, so I didn't. I'm considering doing so someday and posting as a stand-alone fic, though. As far as what it said-- it was accurate ;) (because I wrote it and I crafted Severus around it)

The Map of London. The twins were having a hard time getting it to work properly and I suppose they're still working on it. There are times in canon when the map of Hogwarts is overwhelming, so I'm sure a map of London would be even more so.

Aislinn vs Autumn... I'd say that Autumn is more down-to-earth, calmer. Aislinn was a bit of an adventurous soul-- the sort who could lure Severus out of his shell, but not the sort that I could imagine him being happy with forever. I think she would have driven him crazy eventually, or that he would have grown bored with her. Autumn, despite her quirks, is very stable and consistent, and I had the impression that stability and consistency would appeal to Severus more than wild excitement. I think Aislinn would have always been an exotic fascination, but in the long run, Autumn is more loyal and grounded, and I thought Severus would like that.

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you're enjoying.

And make sure that the boys and girls have worked out which rooms they belong in.

This line was absolutely priceless. The teachers are such well defined characters with all the problems and issues that students never quite see. I could actually feel the process that Severus was going through when he caught the older students involved. Oh f*** - how am I supposed to handle this?

Author's Response: Thank you! I rather enjoyed that line myself. *checks date of review and doesn't even bother making excuses* There is no excuse for being so far behind in answering, but thank you all the same.

I love this. Keep up the great work. I love the twins and i can't wait to see what happens next. Please update soon. Cya Aussie Mel

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're still with me ;) Hopefully, my updates will be coming more frequently, but you know what? I've lost count of how many times I've said that, so that's strictly off the record ;)

Great chapter! I feel bad for Autumn, trying to understand the magic and all, plus she hasn't be able to spend time with Severus. Great story!

Author's Response: I think I read one too many OFCs who just picked up on magic without question. I liked the idea that she dabbled in tarot and astrology and the like, but when confronted with real, honest-to-goodness *magic* she's at a complete loss :)

THanks for the comments!

So glad to see another chapter! Something tells me Severus and Remus should talk instead of drink. It seems sometimes they're too stubborn for their own good. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens to everyone next. S.K.

Author's Response: Talk instead of drink? But what kind of not-fun would that be? ;)

Yeah, I think you're probably right, but I couldn't see Snape sitting down for a heart-to-heart-extra-absorbent-shoulders kind of scene. And I think they both got what they needed, which was a bit of company ;)

Thanks for the comments!
