Reviews for For Tomorrow We May Die

Gina Potter 2004.10.11 - 11:02AM 2: Chapter 1: A Prison of His Own Making Anonymous
This story is really good. I'm obsessed with it. Thank god this fic won't be SS/RL slash, I really like their friendship and I love the relationship between Severus and Autumn. You should consider a relationship with Remus and Willow, that would be fun to read about. I'm dying to see some interaction between Severus and the trio and Ginny. I loved the chess game he played with Ron, by the way (maybe they could start a rematch or something).

Author's Response: So I'm wandering back through my reviews and replying to all of them (because it's getting harder to find the new ones among all the old ones...) and I'm glad I ran into this. I still owe you a rematch!

*adds that to her outline*

I really enjoy the conversations these two share. It would have been priceless to see the look on Snape's face!

Author's Response: I'm glad you thought that too! I think it would have been a kodak moment.

Of course it's not slash. Remus is a friend, a damned good one at that. Great chapter and thanks for keeping this going. Now to get Remus with Willow... ~Lisa

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I have to say it again - thank goodness you are continuing with your writing. I am entirely entranced with your particular "Potter-universe" and I can't be the only one.

Author's Response: Thank you for the comments!

Yay for you and yay for me and yay for all of us addicted to your tales!!! I could hardly believe my eyes- to see this come so soon- you are a storytelling machine! Anxiously awaiting all chapters to come! And, to make this review more helpful, I will attempt something concrete. Remus is a very fascinating character, so patient and forgiving. I like these tales of his interactions with Severus. He may civilize him yet! True love and true friendship are mysteries to Severus, I hope Remus can lead him to a better understanding of relationships and battling your own inner demons. See, not all squee! Thanks, Razzberry.

Author's Response: I'm sorry I didn't respond to this earlier. I wasn't very good about keeping up with reviews I'd responded to before the 'unanswered reviews' function appeared.

I'm glad you're appreciating the interactions between Remus and Severus. I have to say that the reaction I've gotten to that line has been the biggest surprise-- I never intended the relationship to grow so full, but I think that the Snape/Lupin scenes outpace the Snape/Autumn scenes in terms of popularity among my readers.

And I am enjoying the challenge of a nice, healthy, hetero-sexual friendship between two male characters.

Anyway, Thanks for the comments!

A sequel! Thank you so much! I love this universe you created and now we'll have closure. Snape is so thick! He really doesn't know how to handle other person's feelings or his own feelings. Poor Autumn, she is an entirely new situation and doesn't have his support. Hurry up with the update, please!

Author's Response: Thanks for the comments!

I really should be working on my own stories right now but I seem to be rather engrossed with your 'Trilogy'.
