I hope the fool finally realizes what real love is soon. I have a really dirty comment in mind about the cat on Snape at the end of the chapter, but just incase younger readers are looking at this, I shall keep my comment to myself.

Author's Response: lol. I'm probably going to have to change the rating on this thing soon. I probably should have already done so, actually. Thanks though. :) And we'll see if Severus ever figures out what real love is.

I'm glad Sev is more receptive to the goodness in life. It's like his heart got wrung out and he needed time to put the blood back into it. I'm curious as to what he has planned now!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I adored the chess game! It's a shame my Ronniekins didn't win. I want a rematch! (just kidding). Oh, it's good to see Snape more comfortable around Autumn and it seems like he finally put Aislinn in the past. You know, it's amazing how two people can have such different view after reading the same text. Well, I still don't think that Snape is a fair teacher and I'm not saying that McGonagall isn't biased, but at leasy she doesn't spread terror among students of the others houses or is unfair with them just because they're not Gryffindors. I remember in the first book when Snape took house points from Harry under the excuse that he didn't warned Nevile about the missing ingrediente. That's hardly fair. In the same book Minerva took fifty points from Hermione, Harry, Ron and Neville, each. But I'm under the impression that Snape always looks the other way around when it comes to his own students, but is always ready to punish a Gryffindor.

Author's Response: Don't worry! There will be a rematch. Several, in fact, I think. If I can manage to sit down and play out another game or two. As someone who is not a chess player at all, I have to plagarize games, and then load up chess on my computer and play the moves out. Though I have to admit that I had fun writing the scene. It was surprisingly easy when I finally got the idea (duj, jen) to use the compy so I could see the game.

And I'm not going to say that Severus isn't at all biased, but I don't think he's as bad as Harry and Co think he is.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Can I officially call him an idiot! He should have stayed! Wah! Bet the dungeons wouldn't have been as cold if he took Autumn back with him. Now will he really turn up tomorrow or is that a line? ~Lisa

Author's Response: *thinks there might be redemption in the next chapter*

just a hunch ;)

thanks for the reviews!

That was wonderfully romantic! ~Lisa

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked my mush ;) I don't get many chances to write mush with Severus, but I was *determined* to put that one in.

Let me just say that I love this chapter. The conversation seems so real.

Author's Response: Thank you! I was trying really hard to keep that conversation realistic. I find that convincing dialogue is one of the most difficult things to write, particularly when it needs to contain expository elements. Thanks for the review!

YAYthe trio are back in the story!! i love the dancing in the rain part. it was great.

Author's Response: Hehe. Glad you liked it :) That was one of the scenes I've had in mind since before I started writing. Thanks for the review!

That was really nice! I especially loved what was going through Harry's mind as they kissed:)

Author's Response: lol. I was worried that I was being a little too immature with him (would a seventeen year old boy really be that squicked by a kiss?) but I rationalized it to myself that it had more to do with it being Snape than the kiss itself.

Thanks for the review!

~Jen
