Finally, Snape is starting to think with his big head! I'm anxious to see what Ian has in store for Minerva tonight... |

Awesome update. We all knew or hoped Ian was a bastard and it was proven without a doubt this chapter. Of course, Ian is no match for a clever and 'jealous' Snape. I beg ya, more Snape/Minerva time soon, please?!! |

I love the bit where Snape thinks he'd never be as foolish as a woman in love. I'd say he's acting quite the fool in this chapter. But then so is Minerva. They need to talk!!!! |

Wow ... I've been waiting for the Severus-Ian meeting, and here it is. Why didn't Ian see the Death Mark and hear Voldemort's message? (Since Ian is on Voldie's side and all, it wouldn't be a secret.) Those "other questions" that Ian had for Severus - was Ian just wondering whether Severus had a personal relationship with Minerva? I don't understand why Ian wants to bed Minerva, unless he has a way to steal/drain some of her magical powers through sex (and did he already do that with Poppy? and with his own wife?). I do hope that Severus learns ASAP that Minerva was not a willing kiss-ee of Ian's; perhaps Irma can share that with Severus. And Minerva better start enlisting help in avoiding Ian! That insensitive Dumbledore.... Thanks for the great update!! |

Ack, Minerva should tell Severus everything!!! Severus is in the best position to help her find out about Ian and protect her from him. She also needs to separate Ian from Severus in her mind; she NEEDS a good shag with Severus. And if she can't find the words, she can stuff her Ian memories into a Pensieve for Severus, to show him why she fears Ian. Drat! Smart woman making wrong decisions! |

Ooh, a very nice chapter. Poor Severus, just as jealous and unable to express his emotions to other people as ever. I do tend to scream at the man as he refuses to ask a simple question to alleviate his worries! Great chapter; I thought it was harrowing to see Minerva so lost and confused. She is normally the beacon of sense in most stories, and it's nice that you painted her insecurities so convincingly. It's hard to see this situation getting better before it gets worse. God, I loathe that Ian Standish - ultimately a sign of good writing! Well done! |
