Reviews for Truth Beyond Memory

June W 2005.03.31 - 06:32PM 26: A Truth That Can't Be Denied Signed
I sure hope they figure out the truth behind this murder soon.... If Minerva insists on leaving, he should get her to take a charm that lets him know she is in trouble - or an emergency Portkey - or something, anything, to not leave her helpless to Standish and any goons he hires. Stubborn Gryffindor!!

Hurray! The first step was to get them talking, the next to get them kissing (and more). Now just get them trusting each other again and Minerva will be home free! I loved Snape's oh-so-Slytherin take on the situation, and his clash of ideology with Minerva was very believable. Looking forward to updates!

Very nicely done. I can only hope the Severus will figure out what it is about the pensieve copy that is bothering him. Now that Minerva's admitted her feelings to herself, we need to get Severus to do the same and then the big hurdle of them telling each other.

Almost perfect--I felt that the lemon was a little rushed. Between his admission of his feelings and the "clash of the titans" I thought a little more discussion or even a little more silence would have made sense. I know they both feel a lot for each other and have been in this intimate space for the evening, so the tension is almost tangible, but I just think an extension of the conversation that sparked the lemon would be helpful.

Ahhhh...the satisfaction of an update. And one that isn't all suspense! Very well-written chapter--I especially like how you handled their conversation. McG's line about "like all the men I've been involved with..." is a perfect addition at this point--way to let Snape know what's going on in her heart without being overt or sappy. As always, looking forward to the update!

Ooh, I've been waiting forever for this chapter!! Too short....(reader whines).... I wonder if Ian used Imperius on her to commit the murder so that he'd have blackmail for future use; that could explain why he was so willing to divorce her in the first place, if he knew he had something against her "in case" he needed it. I am surprised Severus didn't know about a Pensieve copy; I always think of him as knowing everything about sneaky stuff, although it might just be something that a trained Obliviator knows. Can't wait for the next chapter!!

Yay! With Snape on her side Minerva now has a fighting chance! And do I smell a hint of lemons in the next chapter? Please?

Bravo, Severus for sticking with her and making her tell him. Now we need to see what sort of plan our sly Slytherin can come up with....Oh, the teaser for the upcoming chapter...don't make us wait too long.

This is one of the best stories that I have read. You have Severus down to a tee, you have Minerva's unexpected turn of fortune portrayed perfectly. On every turn, I cannot fault you - nor would I want to! Ian Standish, whilst being pale in comparison to Severus is perfect for his role. Your plotline is ever-changing and completely unpredictable; this is a story that makes me come back time and time again to read and re-read. I pretend to be a voice of litereary criticism, but what I really am is an avid reader of this story, who is eagerly waiting for what comes next! Thank God Snape's finally talking to Minerva! Well done so far! (Bows in humble appreciation...)

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Knowing that there are people out there who are enjoying what I've produced always makes it worthwhile. Thank you for reading. :)

FINALLY! Snape and Minerva are in the same room and talking. Hopefully a happy ending is on the horizon.

Author's Response: No ending is on the horizon just yet. I'm only about halfway done. They'll have a bit of happiness soon, though. :)
