| I have spent a lot of time reading your story over the past couple of days and have finally got through all the chapters! I wanted to save some, but once I got into the story I just had to keep going! Won't go into detail as there would be too much to say, but I'm loving this and will be hounding you for updates from now on! I still think Silas is interesting - he seems like a smarmy git on the surface but I can't decide if he's going to turn out evil or just annoying. And I'm so glad Severus was able to find the right cure for Sarah - imagining what she was going through made me cringe! Oh, and minor detail, but I see you also have Sinistra pegged as a Slytherin, like me! I hope to see an update soon. | |||

| So I finally got round to reading. And I am so very glad I did - this story is absolutely fantastic! I'm only up to chapter 10 so far but I'm hooked! I love the way you've managed to stay so in tune with canon (I'll be interested to compare the first chapters about Privet Drive, the OWL resuslts etc.) with JKR's version when it comes out in July!) I felt really at home reading this - a lot of it seemed so familiar, yet you've succeeded in creating your own storylines and characters whilst keeping Hogwarts and the canon characters completely recognisable. Sarah is very interesting and I can't wait to find out more about what exactly happened to her and her past history with Snape. Also about the Talisman classes and the Blood Magic. Silas sounds like a possible candidate for 'bad guy'?? Or maybe he's just going to be one of those characters who really gets up Snape's nose! Wonderful attention to detail too! I'm really looking forward to reading the rest - will certainly be printing some more chapters off later. Sorry this is a rather long and rambly review - hope you get the sense of it okay!! Excellent work - keep it up! Author's Response: I tried to stay in tune with canon, but I have a feeling that HBP is going to blow it all out of the water once it arrives. I found out from a chat transcript that apparently in HBP Harry's stay at Privet Dr will be the shortest yet, so I'm already AU. I can't wait to hear about your reactions to the rest of it! This story has been so enjoyable to write, and knowing that people are reading it makes it that much more worthwhile. Silas is rather an important character, so you'll see much more of him! | *does little dance* I'm SO happy that you updated. You have NO idea how many times I kept going back to my bookmark at The Dark Arts to see if you had some how, some way updated. Wonderful new chapter of course but short :( I despise Silas. Author's Response: Some readers find me on multiple archives, I see! Good to see you here. I'm so glad you like it! I have had a lot of fun writing it. Chapter 60 was one of the most difficult to write...I got stuck and overwhelmed with ideas halfway through. Usually I have an outline I refer to, but somehow I omitted a week, and then changed the timing while I was writing and that added a week...so here I am, without an outline, and two weeks' worth of story to tell! But it's going well so far, and only one more chapter is left before I'm back to the outline. Whew...I got rather long-winded there. Anyway, thanks for reading...and thanks for the review! | |||

| Okay, what's with Firenze... I always liked him. And you made Silas make sense (even though I still don't like him, which you are probably getting tired of hearing). Another excellent chapter, leaving me with more questions than answers, as usual. Now, is the Muggle attack a trap? See! | Sorry it has taken me so long to read and review! Silas...what an ass! I thought the entire scene involving the little spelled order members was very creative and quite humorous. You know, I wish Severus would get over his friendship with Lucius. Lucius Malfoy is nasty, bad news. Author's Response: Hey, a review's a review! Thank you so much! Hee...Silas definitely gets the strongest responses of any of the characters. I love his pomposity. And Lucius is quite dangerous, oh yes. I hope Severus remembers that. | |||

| Just read the whole 59 chapters (spent the day doing that...) and I have to say it's a very good story... really enjoyed it, and can't wait to see what will be unfolding next! sarah's character is very interesting and complex, I like her very much, and the interaction between the other different characters as well!
WHEN is the next chapter coming ??? I'm a fan now and hope it will be soon! Author's Response: Always nice to have a new reviewer! I'm glad you're enjoying this. | Poor Sarah, to have been through so much. I'm happy she no longer wants revenge on Severus, but I want to know what the fetch does. Bad dreams? One of those slasher-movie attack dolls?
