I was so delighted to see that this had been updated! Author's Response: I'm so glad you're still reading! There's another chapter in the queue as well, hopefully it will be approved soon. Reader's Response: This is one of the best fanfics I have ever read! I have to admit though, that it is difficult to read stories with long times between updates. I generally have to go back and reread several previous chapters so I can remember all the plot details. But yep, I'm still reading! I'd rather reread chapters than see it abandoned! Author's Response: I also get lost reading stories with long pauses. I'm really sad that I got so behind last year, and I'm hoping to make more progress this year. I really want to finish this story very very badly. I love it and I have an ending that I think will work very well. The next chapter has been approved, so hopefully you'll enjoy that one as well! | |||

I'll get on to reading the rest of it, of course - I just wanted to mention that in the middle of this chapter (ch 33), you repeated a line: "Finally they were free to go to lunch, and he sighed in relief. His potion, while not as textbook-perfect as Hermione's, was still better than average, and he felt it deserved an E. He had nearly forgotten about meeting at Myrtle's bathroom until Hermione had nudged him and whispered a reminder. Finally they were free to go to lunch, and Harry sighed in relief. He had nearly forgotten about meeting at Myrtle’s bathroom until Hermione had nudged him and whispered a reminder." This is truly well-written and very interesting. One of the more original fanfics I've seen. | |||

| Silas is a complex character in this fic... He's picky, arrogant (the way he treated Harry was very foul), and he's very lockhart-ish (he doesn't think about how beautiful he is, but what he can do that's better than other people's efforts).
