| This is an amazing story. While some of the characterizations might be a tad off from what becomes established in OoTP, I love this story. It is a bittersweet tale of unrequited love beautifully rendered. I can see poor Severus doing all this to get the attention of a special woman anyway that he could. |

Hold on...are u continueing this? Please do??? I luv it! It's one of my favourites - it deserves each of the five stars it has. I would like to make it 6!!!!!!!! It's sad - when I showed it to my friend she was practically shattered the whole day.

Your imagery, that deft handling of small details, connecting everything back to things found in nature... *sigh* So sad, so beautiful. Sod the canon, this is close enough, and probably more heart-rending than whatever JKR is going to do with ye olde past of Severus... |

| *sniff* I don't care if it is canon or not! I love this fanfic, it is amazingly touching. It gives the feeling of a dream, as if someone is looking back and remembering. I feel so sad now!!! Any fic that has the ability to make me feel sad is amazingly and I can never write a review to do you credit. Thank you so much for this. I could say something like 'Please write more fics!' as I was about to, but none would compare to this. It is what I've been searching for the whole day - so thank you. A lot. |

I see that you are quite deft at sculpting, not only with your hands, but with your words. Beautifully done! Are you the same author of the Sorting Hat/Mack The Knife filk? I recognize your name from somewhere, but I am getting old and forgetful. If so, that's very good too. If you have no idea what I'm referring to, then I humbly beg your forgiveness.
Author's Response: Yep, I wrote two Sorting Songs (one to Mac the Knife, the other to 'Modern Major General) and threw in a joke 'literary history' of Sorting Songs for goold measure. The tidiest version of these is at Mugglenet, under this authorname. |
